Cherrypicked personally in Africa, there is a broad selection of material for gemstone collections or high quality jewelry.

Notably, there is new Tanzanite, including a piece of green Zoisite. A nice selection of Umba sapphire and some exceptional pink Spinel.

We have also restocked some of our more budget oriented material, with close to 300ct of Pink Zircon from Mozambique available.

Absent from the new selection is any Tsavorite, it is becoming scarcer and scarcer. Even the once plentiful merelani mint is disappearing from the marketplace, with only 4 new stones this month.

In the coming weeks we will have some exciting new rough gemstones available including some 25ct + Sapphires, a 45ct Tanzanite and some of the best spinel we have ever seen.

Absent from the market currently is good quality rough Tourmaline, Grossular Garnet, Tsavorite and Purple Spinel. Any of our existing stock represents great value as replacement value may exceed the current sales price.

This show is Australia’s 48th National Gem, Lapidary and Mineral show and is the biggest lapidary related event on the Australian calender

This years event is held in Bundaberg over the Easter long weekend. April 6th – 9th

We are now back from the show after having a great time. We are all looking forward to the 2014 Gemboree in Gatton QLD.
